Affordable Housing and Urban Development

All Ohioans should have access to housing that is safe and affordable, regardless of income.

We are facing a housing crisis that is fueling childhood poverty that the government has watched increase with little response. And increasing inequalities of every kind, that are causing Americans to feel hopeless, helpless and angry. People aren’t being supported by the government, are not being given an opportunity to achieve the American Dream, they feel forgotten and it is unacceptable.

Housing is a human right. To have millions of Ohioans on the edge of homelessness is a crisis! We do not have the shelters or resources to be prepared to address that magnitude of need. This crisis is nationwide and more politicians should be talking about it and acting fast to pull our people to safety.

All Ohioans should be shown the stewarding of our communities, urban development and infrastructure is important, because they are important, and it is something I will fight for.
